Stationary
Paper products are cheap to make and fast to produce. From puzzles to Valentine’s Day cards, many items quickly promoted the line.
Crafts
A sub-line call Figure Makers were to promote crafts by using an air-hardening clay for budding sculpters and painters.
Role-Play
From blasters to lightsabers roleplaying weapons have always been a part of Star Wars products that go beyond the figures.
Exclusives
Much more frequent in modern times, the exclusive figures were a pleasant diversion from the typical off-the-shelf finds.

Luke Tatooine | R2-D2 |
This bears a bit of explanation. Collecting for so many years has had me run in circles with lots of other collectors. Some are infamous, and some are just cool people. OSWCC member Dustin Roberts was able to get his hands on a POTF2 proof sheet of Luke Skywalker and R2-D2, side-by-side on the same sheet. Him knowing I'm a fan of this Red Card line of figures; He being an R2-D2 focus collector this sheet was destined to part with itself, literally. Since then, the piece has made it to KSWCC member Craig Aossey who provided a photo for us.
This would have been a very early production piece to mockup the card backs. Notice the different font was used for Power of the Force and the assortment text. There was no space between the Luke and R2 card on the proof sheet, but I remember Dustin folding the sheet, defining a nice crease, and ripping the two lovingly apart. What was I going to say? He could have just kept the sheet intact but chose to share it with another collector.
